Dinas Perhubungan Kota Tanjungbalai Tanjungbalai bersama Dinas Perhubungan Provinsi Sumatera Utara dan Dinas Kesehatan, melakukan ramp check pada Selasa (28/5/2019) untuk armada angkutan Lebaran 2019. Ramp check dilakukan guna Untuk mengurangi dan meminimalisir risiko kecelakaan.
Dalam kegiatan ini dilakukan pemeriksaan/pengujian teknis kendaraan, kesehatan pengemudi, administrasi pengemudi dan kendaraan, memberikan pengarahan bagi pemilik dan pengemudi kendaraan terkait kelengkapan yang wajib ada di mobil angkutan, memasang sticker laik jalan bagi angkutan yang lulus uji dan laik jalan.
kendaraan yang sudah lolos ramp check berarti sudah direkomendasikan oleh Dinas Perhubungan Sehingga masyarakat lebih mantap untuk memilih angkutan untuk melakukan perjalanan yang baik dan aman dan terhindar dari resiko kecelakaan.
